Troubleshooting Common Issues with RunBuds

If your RunBuds earphones are not working properly, follow the steps below to perform a factory reset and troubleshoot common issues.

Factory Reset Instructions - RunBuds Pro ONLY

Please try the following factory reset instructions to see if they help resolve the issue. Follow each step closely and hold the touchpads for the exact amount of time:

  1. Forget the RunBuds Bluetooth pairing name and turn off Bluetooth on all devices that are connected to your earphones.
  2. Take the earphones out of the charging case.
  3. Press and hold the touchpad on both earphones simultaneously to power them off. Hold for a few seconds until they turn off.
  4. Simultaneously press and hold the touchpad on both earphones for exactly 6-7 seconds, until you hear a beep in both earphones. Then release the touchpads.
  5. When you turn on Bluetooth on your device, pair with the RunBuds earphones.

Note:

If you notice the lights on the top of the earphones are not showing when placed in the charging case, please try the following:

  • Take the earphones out and turn them around to check if there are any blue stickers on top of the gold charging connections. If you find any, remove them.
  • If the issue persists, charge the charging case via USB-C until the lights on the front of the case show 4 lights.
